Foundations: Entry into Wealth Management Training Pathway
This pathway is built for people new to the industry, career changers, graduates, and junior hires who need a credible route into wealth management that goes beyond “passing the exams”.
It blends qualification guidance with real-world application, so attendees leave each seminar knowing what to do next, not just what they should know.
Structure and delivery
This is typically a six to eight stage seminar series delivered via Teams, weekly or bi-weekly.
Each session is a standalone seminar, but together they form a clear pathway from “new entrant” to “commercially ready”.

Core modules you would expect to see
You start with how the industry actually works, the roles, the commercial drivers, and where risk and responsibility sit.
You then overlay a qualifications roadmap (for example, CISI or LIBF/IFS style routes depending on jurisdiction and role), showing what is required and what is optional depending on whether someone is moving toward advisory, relationship management, investment operations, or leadership.

From there, the programme moves into practical client acquisition foundations, positioning and credibility, and a structured introduction to compliance. The tone is simple, practical, and implementable.

CPD framework and learning outcomes
Each seminar is designed with clear learning outcomes, suggested pre-reading, practical exercises, and an optional reflection log so attendees can evidence CPD hours against recognised CPD criteria.
The intention is to align to professional frameworks without pretending to be “endorsed” unless formal approval is obtained.

What attendees actually get from it
They get a structured entry route, clarity on qualifications, a practical playbook for early career actions, and a framework that reduces the usual trial-and-error period.

It is the difference between being “newly qualified” and being “ready to perform”.
